The pod was Immaculate, the hot tub was warm on arrival, and there was a welcome pack with snacks and a bottle of Prosecco. There were Birthday cupcakes, and balloons and banners as I’d mentioned when booking it was my partners birthday which was a lovely touch. The hosts are amazing, only ever a text away and nothing was too much trouble. We can’t wait to come back

The owners were amazing with making sure we had a lovely stay, even made sure our hot tub was ready for us when we had a day away. Emma is very friendly, very approachable and made us feel very welcome through out our stay. The Pod and facilities are all well maintained and provided a comfortable and relaxing stay. The children loved interacting with the 4 sheep in the field adjacent to the Pod and the freedom to explore. Loved arriving to find a welcome basket of treats and prosecco, and complimentary bath robes and slippers. As I had booked the Pod to celebrate one of my daughter’s birthdays Emma had put up a birthday banner and left celebratory buns and balloons for her on arrival. The guest information has plenty of pointers on places to visit locally and we were lucky enough to be visiting on a weekend of a local country show which we spent a full day at, Emma was thoughtful enough to heat the hot tub in advance of us returning in the evening making it ready for us to get straight into when we returned. All in all we had a fabulous stay and will definitely be booking again !

Unfortunately due to an issue on the A66 traffic was diverted which caused a lot or excessive bank holiday traffic along the road. This is not normal for our road.
As you can see 92% of our pitchup guests state ' peaceful' as their main comment when staying here. In the 3 years we have been open & over 600+ guests you are the ONLY guests to comment on road noise. Unfortunately road closures/accidents/diverted traffic are beyond our control. However you will note that as of 8pm that day the road reopened and traffic became minimal as video footage taken after your social media comment can prove at 8pm, 9pm, 10pm & the next morning 7am & 8am too.
However as a small family run site we were extremely upset that despite us going out of our way to ensure your hot tub was heated for your arrival, messaging to let you know we would heat your Hot Tub for your return (which i can guarantee other sites do not do and if they did there would be a charge whereas we are free) & the complimentary welcome hamper which includes prosecco you have marked us down for customer service & felt it necessary to make a derogatory comment on our social media platforms ....whilst still checked in! We pride ourselves on looking after our guests & ensuring their stay in as perfect as possible. We even stop all farm work after 7pm on the off chance the make any noise.
