Lovely site large pitches electric by card but you get a refund on what you don’t use. Toilets and showers clean and tidy showers are push button. Good fishing the only problem is you get day ticket fisherman turn up at 06.00 so touring fisherman can find it hard to get a swim. Apart from that good site

The site was well laid out and our pitch was beautifully picturesque right next to the lake. It was perfect for a weekend spent fishing and relaxing with our 8 year old twins during the summer holidays.
The on site bar and restaurant were also lovely and we stayed for Sunday lunch which was amazing!

The facilities on site were good however, the toilets and washing up area were unfortunately a little less desirable due to cleanliness but this could be due to the high number of families staying over a busy period.

Beautiful setting. Husband and son enjoyed the fishing and caught several. Facilities clean and in fact the whole site was very well maintained and clean. Midweek was quieter, lots of people arriving for the weekend as we left. Onsite cafe was excellent value for money and the food was very tasty. Can’t wait to return.

Loved the site, well maintained. Fishing was unbelievable. The site staff extremely friendly and helpful. Loved the convenience of having a pitch near the lake. Great idea having a cafe and bar on site. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. Toilets and showers were extremely clean, hot water and conveniently placed. Overall the facilities were of a very high standard. Wasn't sure about having to pay extra for electricity but at the end of your stay you just take photo of the meter and any un-used is refunded to you. I would highly recommend this site and definitely will be coming back.

Only one small niggle was we didnt see any swims suitable for disabled guests and there were no proper swims only slopes down to waters edge which in icey or wet weather could be dangerous. Also a small shop would have been handy for basic essentials.

Facikites are good and of good quality.

Beautiful quiet site. The pitches are a very good size, our view was over lake 5. The facilities are good and cleaned regularly. There is a cafe and bar onsite, used the cafe but not bar, the meals looked very nice, plenty of outside seating. Nice place to stay and walk around, plenty of people fishing although we never this time. Some shepherds huts and lodges to rent in a spacious wooded area looked very inviting.

Absolutely loved this site very clean and well kept lakes and surrounding areas . Facilities are lovely and the bar and dinning area beautiful. The staff are so helpful and always smiling nothing was to much trouble. Excellent site.

Superb location and comfortable.

There was live music on Saturday that kind of ruined the peace, and was not advertised or I didn’t notice when booking. Normally I would have been at the bar / music but I had my daughter with me. It would be good if the music could be better highlighted when booking. Bathroom door is tight against the floor and didn’t open / close well.
