First time staying and we absolutely loved it! Facilities were clean especially the showers and toilet block! Loved the fact you only pay for the electricity you use, would highly recommend. The staff were all really helpful and kind thank you for a great stay, we will most definitely be back!

We found the site facilities always warm and clean, staff very helpful and obliging, the fishing was good too. we can strongly recommend Sunday lunch it was delicious 😋 will certainly be visiting again

Very tidy site, well maintained, very generous pitch size. On site cafe/bar very reasonable prices. Excellent Sunday lunch. Pay as you go electric, we liked that we only paid for what we used and pitch fees very reasonable. Staff friendly and welcoming. Already booked to return and have recommended to several friends.

Nothing not to like

I booked an electric tent pitch for my stay. The pitch size was great and I didn't feel cramped at all. The fishing lakes were busy but the whole site didn't seem crowded. Everyone was friendly and respectful and there was a lovely life and atmosphere about the place. I didn't use the restaurant etc but I did have a peek on one of my walks around and they looked popular and inviting. The toilet block was new but also well maintained and lovely and warm at night. Good washing up facilities. There were quite a few cabins dotted around and I might try one of those in the future as they looked really good! Would definitely return. Thank you.

It was a very quiet even though it’s quite busy with lots of people fishing everybody was very friendly. The Wi-Fi was really good. Toilet looked very clean. and the site was well looked after.

one night the fisherman put on really bright lights that woke me up several times in the night.

Very well maintained outside areas. Grounds kept very neat & tidy. Lovely to have a bar & cafe on site. Jukebox is a nice addition.

Shower block needs updating, tired. Ladies toilets had glasses & loo rolls scattered across the floor which was disappointing to see.

Peaceful and well maintained. Good proce too.

Lovely stay in the Bluebell Lodge. Suited our needs perfectly. All amenities that we needed were available.

Just 2 little niggles. One being that anything placed on worktop above fridge rattled so we had to place a teatowel under microwave in order to have a quiet night sleep. Second one is that you could do with a little step at end of the bed as a shorter person in our party struggled to get up on the high bed.
