We have stayed in fendicks 4 times since purchasing our tourer caravan and have tried other sites but our heart will always be at fendicks.. everytime we stay we have a brilliant time fishing, spending time with family, I love that Fendick’s offer a family toilet and shower as makes it easier with my 6 month old baby 💜 lisa and staff are really friendly and accommodating and nothing is ever to much, if you haven’t stayed before don’t hesitate as the site is beautiful and if your a lover of fishing then this is the place for you x we always pitch on lake 5 so can’t comment on others but the grounds are beautiful 😍

Nothing we dislike

Toilet/shower blocks were always clean. Pitches weren't squashed in. On-site cafe was a bonus. Staff very helpful.

Wish there were electric points in the toilet block to plug in a hairdryer. Shame about the noise from the main road running down the side of the site.

Lovely site, very friendly, great to have places to walk the dog from the site and also be able to take the dog in the bar.

Extremely peaceful and beautiful setting. Toilets were spotless and there was plenty of room between each pitch for privacy. Great bar for food and drinks and the breakfast was fantastic. Primarily a fishery so a very peaceful place to camp

The Lavender Cabin was beautiful and spacious enough for 2 people. The grounds and lakes were lovely and well maintained. Fishing was plentiful, we tried two different lakes whilst there and caught mixture of common Carp, Mirror Carp and Catfish. Will definitely be back.

WiFi wasn't working due to a fire of one of the electrical points in the grounds. Some of equipment in the cabin could do with being replaced as they weren't working great and not very clean.
The BBQ wasn't cleaned, I had to scrub it before it could be used. The gate to the cabin was buckled and difficult to shut.

Always an absolute pleasure to stay at Fendicks. A warm welcome every time and helpful, enthusiastic staff, happy to chat about the site, places to visit, events etc..
Very peaceful, well maintained site. Clean, warm facilities. Good food, a bar and various events on site. We love that the owners encourage wildlife, we saw many species of birds.

What a wonderful place ! We were asked which pitch we would like - then later we changed our minds. But that didn't matter to them, they just moved us to one more suitable and helped us - so kind.
The restaurant was busy but despite that we were well looked after, again nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious, freshly made to order and arrived all together despite there being 7 of us. When we left a tip the staff came to tell us we had overpaid - very impressed with their honesty.
The site was full and we expected noise but it was so peaceful.
Can't recommend highly enough, we will definitely be back 🥰
