We had a fabulous time. We went as 3 families with tents all pitched next to each other. The kids ages ranged from 2 to 16. They loved it. We played cricket the kids played at the tree house. It was great no iPads just playing. We barbecued and played guessing games at night. Sunday was really windy but it didn't spoil the weekend. We would definitely go again.

Didn't dislike anything.

The site was clean and the staff very friendly and helpful.
We would definitely be staying again.
The highs were the alpacas and the tree house the children loved it.
The slight low was the noise at night from other campers but that I am guessing is normal (we were first time campers).

The fact there were only 2 showers for the whole site was a surprise however they were very clean and well maintained

Management were really friendly and very helpful, and it’s everything you need for the little get away

Very relaxed site. Extremely likeable staff and owners. Very helpful. Site very clean. Dated facilities but spotless.

Alpcas dogs goats and chickens on-site. Lovely. Will go again.

I only stayed for one night but I'd definitely use this campsite again if I was stopping in the area.
- Couple that run the site were super friendly, providing a far more 'homey' feel than a big commercial campsite.
- Toilet and shower facilities were clean. They were a bit disjointed, a few different buildings with them for both male and female rather than one big block, so I suspect they've added more as the site grew. They were all in the same area though so easy to find.
- It was quite a large site with lots of pitches still available when I was there, so people weren't all cramped in together.
- Short drive in to York. Pocklington is closer and quite a few takeaways and pubs there, seemed quite a vibrant place on a Friday evening if you wanted to venture out for food/drink.
- And the most important thing: Alpacas and goats!

We stayed for a week at this place. We loved this little campsite, it has a charm that in some way is unmatched.
We arrived to a small campsite which was very relaxed and quiet. Whilst it's small it does have things to do, the kids can find their own entertainment in the lovely tree house, we would joke that we had forgotten to bring the kids with us because they were always playing. The facilities are clean with showers and washing up areas a and the pitches are spacious and flat with electric. The manager and wife and were very helpful and on hand with advice about the local area. We were greeted very warmly and they often checked on us to make sure we were OK which was nice. The manager also takes anyone that wants to see some hedgehogs 'Hedgehog hunting' as the camp is known for loads of the little visitors coming to say hello, this was a massive hit with the kids who got close with nature. On site there are plenty of alpaca's whixh is nice to look at. On a clear night this place is also wonderful to see the stars, during our visit we saw loads of shooting stars.

The site itself is at a very convienet spot as its about 20 minutes drive to the city of York, a few minutes drive to the local village of Pocklington which is great for supplies and local to York Maze and the Air Museam so there's plenty to do. We will be coming again for sure to this little gem

It's not a dislike but would have been handy to have a washing machine on site.

Lots of showers and toilets, big pitches with electricity. Very friendly wardens(not sure if that's the right word) and the alpacas were great
