Stunning scenery with plenty of walks. Very quiet camp site with shops and pubs close by if needed. Shower and toilets were okay but for such a cheap price I didn’t expect too much. No phone signal which was lovely but this could be a problem for some.

Extremely long grass that needs cutting (knee high). Long grass meant more bugs, it also meant me and the dog were soaking in the mornings after a few steps outside. It was a nightmare and this was with no rain.

I had a wonderful stay at Eco Campsite near the Black Mountains. The location is stunning, with spacious pitches, amazing views, and a real sense of peace and privacy. Facilities are clean, eco-conscious, and well looked after – the compost toilets and hot showers were a nice surprise!

Perfect base for hiking and exploring the area. The owners were friendly and welcoming, and the whole site felt calm, natural, and relaxing. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with nature. There's even i lovely little pub just off the site which was a nice treat just after a 3hr hike

The only thing was the signage to the campsite which was quite hard to see from the road

The location is fantastic, the pitch has plenty of space, and the owner is friendly and attentive. Showers and a flush toilet are a big plus.

Fantastic campsite with great access for hiking over to Llyn Y Fan Fach & Fawr. I travelled alone with my dog in my campervan & booked a pitch on the Church field. I was greeted on arrival at the farm house by the owner, who directed me to the field and let me know where toilets etc are.
The field is huge and very well kept, plus nice & flat for the van! The horse-box composting toilet is a quirky touch & was kept impeccably clean and topped up with toilet roll!
The site is very basic, but perfectly looked after & ideal for a couple of nights stay to explore the area. Highly recommend - would much rather support a small independent family-run campsite than something larger & heavily populated!

Only *very* small downside is the grass was quite long, so expect rather wet feet in the morning dew!

Lovely canpsite owners, the Meadow Firld was absolutely stunning! Nice amenities and a lot to to nearby! Campsite has 360 view of the mountains making it a very serene place to pitch!

Clear signage, welcoming and attentive host, back to basics camping facilities.

No phone signal at all (perhaps that was a good thing actually?!) but for a solo traveller I hadn't brought anything else to do (I will next time).

Beautiful surroundings, quiet, helpful host and warm shower. Would be back!!
