Lovely welcome and stay. The site is simple, clean and in a beautiful location. We would certainly stay here again.

Friendly welcome, good clean facilities, water tap directly next to all pitches.

Really bad road noise all night. This is fine during the day, but there was traffic on the road directly by the site all night, including lots of heavy / agricultural machinery. My wife and five year old barely slept a wink, which got our trip off to a terrible start. Not at all apparently that this would be a problem from other reviews or the look of the site, or even the road when you arrive. Apparently this was something to do with a nearby road closure causing additional traffic, but I’m not sure I believe that entirely. Owner / manager also very non sympathetic when we needed to cancel two additional nights we’d booked - aside from refunding the small amount of tourist tax, which was appreciated - despite blaming the temporary road closure for the noise.

The pitches also severely restrict how you can set up. They have a patch of hard standing to park on, which is next to a small paved area to have outside your door. This is to stop it all getting muddy, and does make sense; but means you can only set up in one place, and if you have a small awning you will not be able to set it up next to your van as the paving means you can’t peg it in. We ended up having to pitch it as a separate tent in the end, which not convenient when it rained.

Warm welcome and shown to our pitch with advice about how to park up for best experience, shower facilities had underfloor heating and was clean

Great pod with super facilities. Friendly welcome. Quiet campsite. Our second visit.

Couldn’t work the hob at first or air con at all but that was probably our fault.

High electric charge per KWh. I know we used a lot of electric as we were cold.

Nothing,some people may not like having to pay for hot water in showers ,but there are lots of sites that do this all over Europe.
