The entire site in general was spectacular, from.. its scenic views to the staff, we camped for the first time in a tent and it's the best holiday we've had for a long time, the pitches are of a good size to allow for a larger tent. The site went deadly silent at 10pm which was good for our daughter sleeping.

We went to the bar a few nights and the entertainment was fantastic, the food was very good, fairly priced and big portions.

The pool was a brilliant touch, not too cold and not as busy as you'd expect, very clean.

The WiFi was good although we didn't really use it.

We believe The toilets and showers were cleaned twice a day and they were of a high cleanliness standard.

The staff on site were very well mannered and very helpful at any given moment.

The location was brilliant, at the top of a hill with no lighting, this allowed on a clear night for star gazing.

All the other campers were very friendly and our daughter made many new friends.

We will 100% be returning at a later date and can't wait.

Great campsite

Stopped over here for one night to break up the journey back from Newquay, hard standing pitch was great, well kept bushes dividing the pitches. There is a little play park on site that the kids loved. The proximity to Cheddar caves and gorge is really great, it is a 10 minute drive, and being able to visit there on a stop over was also great! Showers were great, our block had a proper mixer tap and adjustable position head, not one of those silly push button things with a fixed head. Toilets were clean, tidy, and very well kept.

The Maribel plum trees were also a favourite for the kids, you should make jam on site and sell it in the shop!

Being picky but the swimming pool shut a little early given it is summer (5pm), would have been nice to have it open until 7pm. But it wasn’t a big deal.

Lovely site, staff were really friendly. Facilities were clean & the site is located in a lovely area.
The indoor pool is a lovely touch & the kids loved being able to use it, it does get busy on weekends.

We stayed in the grove field with a 7 man tent sizes were provided on booking.
My only dislike would be the size of the pitches/green space. You are very close with your neighbours & there is no space near the tent pitches to really enjoy the outdoors.

Absolutely everything, the entertainment, the pool, the walks, the bins, the waste stations, the water, the shop, THE EXTREMELY HELPFUL STAFF. Honestly everything is absolutely amazing.

Indoor swimming pool is warm with a separate toddler pool. It’s more than enough to keep little ones entertained. The bar serves decent food and there’s a play area outside and toys inside.

The whole site is clean, as are the facilities. We visited Wookey Hole nearby and booking into the campsite gave you 10% off. Great value for money

WiFi was intermittent in the camping field but we had 4G anyway

The swimming pool, lovely clean facilities. Really loved the field being right near our plot too. It was a great little stop for us as a family!

Absoulte fantastic camping site for a weekend get away! Not too over crowded at all, plenty of space between tents.
Swimming pool and bar with hot food and great ciders to choose from.
Staff are so friendly and cannot do enough to make your stay plesent.
The owners are brilliant with great hospitality, even sang karaoke and made our night so fun, such a great atmosphere all round.
Will definitely book again.

Can't fault this place for short stays.
Longer stays could benefit with washing machine/dryer facilities.
