Knew the moment I arrived that this was my type of campsite. Last minute booking for a couple of nights but plenty of space. Had a warm welcome from owners, even down to a pre arrival text from them to let me know gate code and when they'd be around. We chose a secluded corner to set up, and enjoy the surroundings. I loved the layout, with seating areas around the planted and orchard, the solar lights around the cantina were so pretty.
Owners were friendly and made us, and my very chatty son feel welcome. We will definitely be back if you'll have us.

Love how remote it felt but still within short distance of everything. Small site was great. The owner was so welcoming and kind. Loved how everything was eco friendly and all handmade. I grew up with a dad who made everything so this made my heart warm. Nice and flat. Actual toilets !! An amazingly hot shower

These are jsut some suggestions as I know you are a new site. As someone who is a bit wobbly and has a child who runs like a mad hatter, I feel there should of been more light around the food, shower, toilet and washing up area. There was lots of solar power lights up but only one was on. Just feel it would be safer with a little more light especially with all the beautiful seating areas. If you have young children they would need to be supervised at all times as there is a moat around the site and it’s easily accessible. The washing up area could maybe have some kind of solar hot water? Washing up in 2degree weather with freezing water certainly was an experience haha. I know we could of boiled some water but it’s extra stuff we don’t have the room for. Again these are not bad things as the place is great I promise

The cold easterly wind during the night across the Somerset levels....nothing the hosts could do about that!

Everything about this site was original and quirky! From the lovely hosts, Sadie and Kevin, with their incredibly warm welcome, to the immaculate toilets and shower, the fact that we could choose our own pitch, and the added bonus that we were the only ones on site so early in the season. We pitched up making sure we could see the Tor through our rear window, and were rewarded with the most incredible sunrises and sun sets… glorious red balls of fire marking the beginning and close of each day. We will never forget this magical experience, which, tied in with our visit to the serene chalice gardens, made our trip one to remember forever! Well done to Bob for inventing the concept of ‘l field’ and to Sadie and Kevin for carrying it on!
