Campsites in Pals, Spain

23 bookable campsites within 15 miles of Pals Sorted by distance

We wouldn’t dream of/dare to declaim the best beach on the Costa Brava, but we do very much hope your sandy Spanish sojourn at some point includes Playa de Pals, the sparkling white beach overlooked by the medieval town of Pals in Girona. Unlike many sandy spots on the Catalonia coastline, the beach at Pals is long enough (over two miles, beach fact fans) to find your own little haven of seclusion, from whence you can watch the watersporters, plan to plunge into scuba diving, get sand in your book and sup a tinto de verano from one of the several beach bars.

We’re assuming you’ve booked your Pals campsite for at least a week, so after a few days on the beach, trundle the few miles inland to Pals to clack down and get lost among its narrow cobbled streets and the castle remains of the Gothic Quarter. Then climb up to the Josep Pla viewpoint: the Medes Islands and surrounding vistas from here are the views you put on Facebook to annoy people stuck back home. Olé!
