The hosts were always available. Alexandra was very helpful . They had delicious fresh eggs , herbs and marmalade . It is a small friendly site high up on the hillside and has a lovely pool which would be so inviting in the summer. The washrooms are new and clean. You share the stay with Peacocks , donkeys and hens. It feels very rural but you have everything you need 20 mins away and even restaurants down the same road in summer. Also ideal for those with bikes

You can't park your car next to your tent as the tents are on terraces up a steep hill. This is a slight inconvenience but good to know in advance so you only take what you need.

Dimensioni contenute (una decina di piazzole), pulizia, location (immerso nel verde, panorama mozzafiato), animali (un fagiano chiaccherone, due asini, galline, un cane, mamma gatta con gattini, e probabilmente molti altri ancora!)

Local attractions

Many trails run along the lake and through the local olive groves and medieval villages. The most popular is the Malcesine walking and cycling trail, a 35-kilometre route through the Brenzone sul Garda area and along tarmac roads, paths and mule tracks. It has easy climbs and descents except on the uphill walk from Ca Romana to the hamlet of Campo.

Also take a trip on the Malcesine cableway all the way up to Monte Baldo at 1760 metres, to have a mountain supper in one of the mountain shelters.

Gardaland, the biggest theme park in Italy, Movieland and Caneva Aquapark are a short drive away.

Also visit Verona, with its cobbled streets, Romeo and Juliet's balcony and the Roman amphitheatre.
