Sea views and being right on a beautiful stretch of sandy beach.
Friendly site with clean facilities. Only stayed one night so cannot comment on pool and other facilities but they looked fine.
    Level and private pitches.

    Disliked:

Small block of unisex toilets. Expect these in France but block was very 'compact'.
No hot water for washing up.
Pitches small, couldn't get awning widthwise on our camper van, but pitches all private with nice surrounding hedges.
Sounding very negative but we did like the site and sea views and immediate beach access made up for an awful lot.
All good for our short stay.

Loved this beautiful and peaceful site. Although there are entertainment programmes for children and a lovely singer on Thursday night it is situated so that it does not intrude on the rest of the camp site. Immaculately clean with helpful staff and good basic shop. Clean showers with plenty of hot water and also good washing up places. Lovely heated little poo and one for little ones too. The beach was right next to our pitch and the sand is so white its fabulous. You can walk for miles and dogs are allowed on the beach. We will return here again.

The sea view was absolutely breathtaking in this peaceful and beautiful part of France. Very helpful members of staff helping us to settle in and leave the campsite when our motor mover stopped working.

    Disliked:

Lack of English translations with literature of things to do in the area available at the campsite reception. You have to order baguettes at reception the day before but there is a Boulangerie in the village do it didn't matter. Only 1 of the 2 available shower and toilet blocks were of an acceptable standard.

A v friendly campsite with amazing views over the estuary. Nice big level pitch with hedges so v private. Showers and loos nice and clean. Good restaurant near the entrance too the site.

    Disliked:

They didn't speak English, we manage ok as I speak a little. Not much nearby, 2 quiet villages. It was our first pitch and we hadn't stocked up so couldn't get anything nearby but our fault really for not being organised. We would probably have stayed another night if we had!

Local attractions

Due to the great seaside location there are lots of nearby activities to try: angling, yachting, kitesurfing and a local sailing club are all close by.

Many other tourist attractions and activities are also around in this beautiful region of Brittany: the site is three kilometres from the fishing village of Meneham and within driving distance of the Océanopolis aquarium in Brest, Roscoff, Saint-Pol-de-Léon and the Île Vierge lighthouse just off the coast from Plouguerneau.

The culture and traditions of the Brittany region are easy to find from here, such as the Fest Noz festival with traditional dancing and live music, and plenty of events and festivals all year round. For food and drink, Brittany has a range of specialties and recipes from fish and seafood to crêpes and Brittany-style cakes. Don't forget to try the famous local cider too.
