Domaine de Litteau is a peaceful retreat on the edge of the Cerisy Forest, ideal for exploring the Normandy beaches (20 miles) and the historic town of Bayeux.
Two fishing pools are exclusive to Litteau customers. If you can’t carry your equipment, you can hire rods from the on-village shop.
A recent addition is the superb heated covered pool with waterslide, spa bath and toddler’s area.

Many sites set a maximum occupancy of 6/8 people per pitch, so try breaking your booking down into smaller groups to generate more results. For example, if you’re a group of 10, enter 5 people in your initial search and then book 2 pitches.
However, where the pitch or accommodation occupancy allows it, you can make a booking for up to 30 adults and 30 children in one booking.
To book multiple pitches or accommodation, use the 'Special requests' box on the booking page to ask to be sited together. Complete the booking form for the first booking (you can add a password and save your card so that we remember your details). Then click "Make another booking like this" at the top of the confirmation page to make the next booking.
Large groups: check the listing page for any group restrictions set out in the terms and section titled ‘Please note’.
Large tents/caravans: check the restrictions on unit dimensions to ensure your unit is suitable for the space you will be provided with.

Take the A16 autoroute out of Calais to the A28/E402 at Abbeville signposted Rouen, Le Havre. Carry on to the A29/E44 signposted Le Havre, Caen, then go on to the A13 to Caen. At Caen go onto the N814/E46, Périphérique Cherbourg, CHU, follow this road and then go on to the N13-E46 signposted Bayeux, St Lô, Balleroy, Cherbourg and take exit D572 Bayeux, Balleroy St Lô. Then follow local directions below.

From Eurotunnel, pick up the main Boulevard de L’Europe, then follow signs to Boulogne, Rouen. Take exit A28 Abbeville, Le Tréport, Rouen, Le Havre and join the A29/E44 Le Havre, Caen. Pick up the N814/E46 Le Havre, Périphérique Cherbourg, CHU. Then follow the N13-E46 signposted Bayeux, St Lô, Balleroy, Cherbourg and take exit D572 Bayeux, Balleroy, St Lô. From ferry port follow signs for 'Autre directions' A13 Caen. Go on to the D515 then bear right and merge onto the N184 signposted Périphérique Ouest, Cherbourg, Rennes. Take the N13-E46 signposted Bayeux, St Lô, Balleroy, Cherbourg and take exit D572 Bayeux, Balleroy, St. Lô. Then follow local directions from Calais and Caen below.
Local directions from Calais and Caen
Follow the D572 through the towns of Noron la Poterie, La Tuilerie and then Vaubadon. You will come to a large roundabout where you will still be following the signs to St Lô and Litteau. Follow this road through the forest and there will be two turnings on the left-hand side that will be signposted Litteau. Take the second turning marked Litteau and Domaine de Litteau, then take the first left. Domaine de Litteau is on the left-hand side down the hill.

Omaha Beach Golf Club (22nd March - 31st October) If you fancy yourself as the next Lee Westwood, then Domaine de Litteau serves as an ideal base with Omaha Beach Golf Club only 25 mins away. With fantastic views over Omaha beach, this international 27-hole course features an 18-hole Scottish style links and an American style l'Etang course, an exciting 9 holes with lots of water. Many of the largest and fastest greens in France are to be found here!
Fishing at Etangs de Planquery (22nd March - 4th November) - trout lakes specialist in giant trout weighing up to 12kg (permit not required). Only 10 minutes from the parc.
Mont St Michel and its bay is one of the “Wonders of the West”, a Gothic-style Benedictine abbey dedicated to the archangel St Michael, and the village that grew up in the shadow of its great walls (1hr).
The picturesque countryside of ‘Suisse Normande’ along the Gorges of the River Orne is a must-visit for lovers of mountain sports and fly fishing.
