  • A three-minute walk from the bastide town of Villereal
  • Fishing, restaurant, disabled facilities and safe setting with CCTV

Du Lac Pesquie is in south-west France with easy access and a good road network to all main attractions, and is is just a three-minute walk from the centre of the pretty bastide town of Villereal. Plenty of attractions of all types are within no more than 15 minutes' drive.

Within walking distance are many facilities such as a swimming pool, tennis courts, a supermarket, restaurants and bars. Fishing and a restaurant are both available on site.

It's set in beautiful grounds with camping in spaced woodland, lake.
I'm sure if my Dislikes were addressed then this would be an amazingly relaxing site even in high season. I'm sure it would get 10/10
But in its current form I would go if there was more than 3 sets of campers.

    Disliked:

    There is NO SWIMMING POOL
Bar, restaurant and take away is under construction ready for June season, ( this should be stated on website,)
    ONLY-
    1 toilet,
No official sluice - other than down the only toilet!
Only 1 shower and it only warm water for 4 minutes before you have to wait 20mins for the next shower. How will this site cope with showered and toilets with more than 3 campers!?
I could only recommended this site if the toilets and showers were fully updated, I'm sure the new bar owners will be doing a good job. I hope the owner is going to very rapidly build a toilet / shower block ( the old toilets/showers have been removed to make the bar-restaurant area! Not once was the toilet/shower refreshed or cleaned in our 12day stay

From the manager...

Louise

So sorry to hear your comments about our complex and facilities.
We will take your comments on board.
When you was here we have a disable toilet room and a large shower room and we have today installed a second toilet, on-site we will have a bar/restaurant and it will be open for the summer and has 4 toilets for the use of all customer.

We did check the toilet and wash rooms and the pot sink areas while you was here, and you was the only customer to use theses facilities and we was not prepared to clean a abundance amount of dog hair found through the shower and toilet areas because you where showering your two dogs.

We do have a SWIMMING POOL with in walking distance you never checked for.

Our complex in set in very tranquil settings within 44 acres it is peaceful, safe and beautiful , so sorry to hear this report and we will do everything to make our customers happy we are very committed in doing so.
