General

  • Level site with mountain views
  • Family-run with priority on customer service
  • Within walking distance of the village of Caersws

Maesmawr Farm Resort is surrounded by the unspoilt Welsh countryside. The site is completely level with mountain views from every angle. This is a family-owned business and as such customer satisfaction is the owners' top priority. The ultimate aim at Maesmawr Farm Resort is to ensure guests have a relaxing, peaceful holiday.

The site added a new shower block with an indoor potwashing area in May 2016, along with a large disabled washroom with easy ramp access. The block is centrally heated and double glazed with a non-slip floor throughout.

The farm is within walking distance of the village of Caersws, where guests have access to shops, restaurants, a petrol station and a post-office. Golfers are only a short walk away from a nine-hole golf course with flood-lit driving range, club house and shop.

Please note

Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.

Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act.

A very nice lady welcomed us at the reception and showed us where our pitch was. The site is very flat and is obviously still being developed as the plants and bushes need some time to develop. Toilets, showers and dish washing are very new and nice and clean. In the local village Caersws there are pubs, shops, takeaway and a garage, I couldn't find a way from the site to the village walking apart from down a busy road which is a shame. Plenty of camping areas and room for caravans, when it develops a bit more it's going to be a very nice site.

Level grass pitch with hook-up. New toilet, shower and dishwashing facilities in their own mobile buiding. Sensible site rules to encourage consideration for other site occupants.

    Disliked:

Not much to dislike. Fairly basic site which we liked although a shop in the reception hut selling basic provisions would have been useful. Main road to West Wales is quite close and there is some traffic noise which is more apparent at night when it is quiet.
