The camping field at Gwalia Farm is extensive. Situated in a wild area near a lake, the flattened patches are perfect for pitching tents. The area has amazing wildlife including orchids, dragonflies and damsel flies, buzzards, kites, frogs, newts and toads and sometimes night jars, glow worms and even the occasional otter.

The site has its own (untreated) spring water supply and campfires are permitted. Bags of firewood are available for sale.

There are no showers, but there is a small lake which you can swim in (we don't offer any safety equipment or supervision). Cars are parked a short walk from the field.

We have goats, chickens and sheep and a large vegetable garden grown to organic principles.

Guests are welcome to help with feeding the chickens, milking the goats and collecting eggs.

Please note

No showers available at the campsite.

Terms and conditions

Please read the park terms and conditions below and the terms and conditions.

The site is quite wild with compost toilets only.

Currently the only water at the property is untreated spring water which we must label as 'not drinking water'. You may wish to bring drinking water/ a filtration system, alternatively the water is safe to drink if it is boiled first.

Swimming is wild, unsupervised and at your own risk. Water is deep; walk ways and bridges may be slippery. Children must be supervised at all time especially around these areas.

Dogs are welcome but must be under control at all times.

No amplified music on site.

Cars must be parked a short walk from the camping field.
