Views of the Brecon Beacons are stunning.
Two for the price of one day's entry into the farm park.
Trekking centre offering wide variety of riding options.
Friendly and helpful staff - from the lady who checked us in to all of the staff working in the cafe, rides and trekking centre. We visited on a hot, busy day and the staff could not have been more friendly even when faced with very long queues.
Booked an introduction to riding session for my daughter who was very nervous beforehand. The young girl who took the session was lovely and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed it.
Food prices in the cafe were reasonable and the food was served very quickly even on a busy day.

    Disliked:

Showers - high water pressure meant everything in vicinity of the shower was sprayed with water. Not enough hooks/ no benches or shelves to put clean clothing and towels on whilst in the shower. ( however showers are free and water was hot)
Some of the pitches are on the small side.
Needs more recycling facilities. The farm park has an eco policy displayed and has separate bins but these weren't clearly marked . Hot drinks were only sold in disposable coffee cups and some of the meals were served in polystyrene packaging.
No separate recycling facilities in the camping area so all waste was put in 1bin . I took all of my recyclables home with me.

Poor facilities. Filthy showers which weren’t very efficient, no hand basins for washing - taps wouldn’t stay on and no plugs, nowhere dry to put clothes/washing stuff, our pitch was taken by someone else and no-one around to ask, didn’t see any staff all weekend except for the adventure farm

the actual site was very well sign posted from the road and the site was very well laid out it comprises of tiered pitches both grass and hard stands for motorhomes and i think even at peak usage this site would be nice as there is enough room between pitches to still get views and boy are they worth it!!! facilitys are spot and are set up for horsey people so have all the bits you need and the washing up facilitys are decent but could do with a light in the evening as a torch makes for hard work :)

    Disliked:

no one on site when we turned up, but set up at a pitch of our own choice as we were the only people using the site which was a bonus! :) every cloud and all that!

Reason for trip was for friend to try out their new camper. Stayed one night - would of liked to stay more and bring kids - plenty for all to do. Went into Brecon for a dinner by taxi. Good hook ups and water points easily available. Will go back and enjoy the pony trekking.

    Disliked:

    Nothing to dislike.
