Stayed in the Safari tents for 3 nights, with our two children. Pretty basic with decent beds and they did provide bedding. Very clean site, facilities were also very clean too. The site is very quiet. 5min drive to Little Haven and Broad Haven, 15 mins from Haverfordwest. Great value stay, happy customers ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We absolutely loved Little Haven Retreat! After a very warm welcome we were given directions to our TeePee & having read some of the more recent reviews about them I don't mind admitting I was a little sceptical but they really were superb. Don't expect luxury, after all you're still camping, but our teepee was immaculately clean, cosy, comfortable & very spacious considering we're a family of four with 2 teenage boys. The picnic bench for each teepee was also an added bonus. The rest of the facilities on-site, ie, showers, bathrooms, washing up areas were equally as impressive, simple but very clean which is ultimately all you need. Wouldn't hesitate to return, this is a great site in a perfect location for exploring the Pembrokeshire coastline.

    Disliked:

There's really nothing we disliked. The only things I'd say is that the mattresses aren't the comfiest but maybe that's personal preference and the addition of a sweeping brush to keep the floor a bit cleaner during your stay would be great.

From the manager...

When we arrived we were really warmly welcomed and we felt comfortable right away. We had a wonderful view from our pitch, it was a little windy but absolutely worth it to be able to see the sea! The dog run area was good to be able to let him have a run around and the family friendly shower/toilets were just what we needed for the little ones.

    Disliked:

The only downside was that the wifi wouldn't connect

From the manager...

Hi Nicola,
Many thanks for your review, we are glad that you enjoyed your stay with us. The view of the sea is lovely in the distance.
Apologies that you had difficulty with the internet, the connection can be sporadic in the Havens.
We hope to see you again next year.
Best wishes

Nice site, not packed in like sardines. Very quiet

    Disliked:

Two beds had not been put together correctly. Resulting in 2 bad nights of sleep. The slats were fitted one end and just dropped through the gap the other end. When we went to bed it was noticed but no one was around to help. We alerted the reception desk in the morning. They came out checked both and said they’d get someone to fix it. We went out for the day looking forward to a better nights sleep. Got back around 6pm checked the beds. One had been poorly fixed with nails, daughter sat on it to test (she’s 12) and we heard the slats fall through again. Checked the second bed and it hadn’t been touched. Went to advise only person about was an older guy who said what did we expect them to do they’re not carpenters and they’d fix it on Thursday. We had to put chairs under the beds to prop the slats up which wasn’t comfortable. Next morning after a second bad night, we let them know again who said that they didn’t have anyone to fix it. No offer of moving us to the vacant tent, so we said we’d be requesting a refund. They then managed to find someone who came out fixed them correctly with screws by moving the slats to a better position.

We emailed when we got home to ask for a partial refund and was told no because they weren’t notified by the previous guest or cleaner and they’d done everything possible to rectify the situation. Good customer service at the time would have been to move us or offer something else so we would have a better nights sleep. Such a shame because it would have been a lovely stay if it wasn’t for the two bad nights sleep and the customer care.

From the manager...

We are sorry that you did not enjoy your stay with us. When you notified us that the bed had been broken, we did our best to fix the problem as soon as possible.
