General

  • Small organic farm on the banks of the River Teifi
  • Pitch up in a car-free hay meadow
  • Buy burgers, sausages and bacon for barbecues and campfires

Henfryn Farm is a small organic farm on the banks of the River Teifi in west Wales, home to a small herd of traditional Hereford-cross cattle and a small flock of Llanwenog sheep. The farm also has lots of chickens, ducks and geese as well as four horses, two friendly farm dogs and a cat.

Guests will be sleeping in the car-free hay meadow. There's no electric hook-up here, just back to basics camping in spectacular surroundings with plenty of wildlife. The owners provide wheelbarrows to carry your equipment.

The farm has two showers, two compost toilets and two washing-up sinks. There's also a communal barn with a flushing toilet, a fridge/freezer, a washing machine and sockets to charge your phone.

Guests can buy burgers, sausages and bacon from the farm, as well as charcoal for barbecues and logs and kindling for campfires.

The site was stunning. Lovely being right by the river - perfect for kids to paddle in. Great to see the chickens and geese roaming free by the farmhouse.

We were made to feel very welcome from arrival on. The whole atmosphere and situation of the site was very lovely. Well-equipped bell tent and kitchen (I didn't need half of the stuff I'd packed) and a beautiful location overlooking Afon Teifi. Well worth a visit.

Warm welcome, wheelbarrows, amazing location, delicious complimentary lemon drizzle cake ( couldn't resist despite being vegan!), river, potential otter spotting, peaceful, compost toilets/showers.

The bell tent was perfect, we've never 'glamped' before but if it is like this then we'll certainly do it again. The tent felt spacious but cosy, we felt we had to use the woodburner even though it wasn't really necessary in June. We had all the cooking facilities we needed for meals overlooking the river.

We had a lovely time and really hope to return soon.
