If there’s anything better than toasting in a hot tub with views of your private trout fishing lake and of the cracking Welsh countryside, on a site with camping pods so classy they have their own heated towel rails, then we, dear reader, would like to know what.
Perhaps a glass of wine on the patio beside the hot tub while the kids are otherwise occupied at the outdoor play area or bouncing on the trampoline? Taking a kayak or boat out on the lake? Dolphin spotting from the cracking coast of Cardigan Bay five miles away? Have the lot, why not, at Cwmcoedog Farm in Ceredigion, a working farm in a wooded valley near the town of Lampeter.
There are three plush pods at Cwmcoedog Farm, one with a double bed settee and the other with single beds, and all with electric hook-up and access to a smart bathroom pod with shower, loo and washing facilities. Podders can also use the laundry room with washer/dryer, drying area and secure bike storage.
No sunshine some day? No problem: the laundry room doubles as a games rom for playing pool, darts and table tennis, having a natter with other guests about your west Wales plans, or telling all and sundry how much you like toasting in the hot tub...
