Ty Mawr Tents and Tourers is a small, friendly, family-run site. The location is extremely peaceful with glorious countryside views and an idyllic setting... Opting for a stay here means being located only three miles in the north of Cardigan, within walking distance to beautiful Mwnt beach and the coastal path, and close to the dolphin spotting of Cardigan Bay.
The site is well laid out with a brand new insulated facility centre including two toilets, two showers and a washing-up area. There is also free use of a freezer for ice packs.

Many sites set a maximum occupancy of 6/8 people per pitch, so try breaking your booking down into smaller groups to generate more results. For example, if you’re a group of 10, enter 5 people in your initial search and then book 2 pitches.
However, where the pitch or accommodation occupancy allows it, you can make a booking for up to 30 adults and 30 children in one booking.
To book multiple pitches or accommodation, use the 'Special requests' box on the booking page to ask to be sited together. Complete the booking form for the first booking (you can add a password and save your card so that we remember your details). Then click "Make another booking like this" at the top of the confirmation page to make the next booking.
Large groups: check the listing page for any group restrictions set out in the terms and section titled ‘Please note’.
Large tents/caravans: check the restrictions on unit dimensions to ensure your unit is suitable for the space you will be provided with.

From Cardigan, follow the B4546- Gwbert- Mwnt- then follow the signs for Ty Mawr Tents and Tourers.
Being so close to the Ceredigion Coastal Path make it possible to enjoy activities such as fishing, boating, walking, cycling, birdwatching, dolphin spotting (we heard that a visitor swam with six dolphins in Aberporth last summer), or relaxing on one of the many local stunning beaches: Poppit Sands, Mwnt and Aberporth are on the doorstep.
Cardigan's historic market town is well worth a visit with a mix of small high street and traditional tourist shops, supermarkets, many pubs and restaurants, and a theatre, cinema, swimming pool and galleries.
Discover the medieval origins of the region, admire the Georgian architecture and learn about the first ever Eisteddfod - all in stunning surroundings at Cardigan Castle.
