An exclusive single pitch set in a private 12-acre nature reserve on the edge of the Cambrian Mountains, Coed Phoenix is in a peaceful location with pure air and no light pollution.

The site has areas of forest, young woodland, wildlife pools, marsh and heathland. Simple trails and small sections of boardwalk allow easy access around the site.

Please note there are no showers.

Directions


From the main A485 running through Bronant, take the small ‘C’ road signposted towards Bontnewydd and the fish farm. Drive for about 3/4 of a mile. You will pass a green house on your right and shortly after this you will see a large wooden gateway on your left. The gatepost has a sign with Mynydd Brith Woodlands on it. Go through the gate and after 500ft or so you will arrive at the entrance and volunteers' parking area.

Fron Fish Farm - three trout lakes and a course lake with fantastic views.

Tanyresgair bike hire - full- and half-day rental of quality mountain bikes.

Llyn Eiddwen nature reserve - a natural upland lake surrounded by heathland and mire.

Pentre Bach - colourful and quirky visitor attraction where popular children’s show Pentre Bach was filmed. Includes a café and children's activities.

Bwlch y Geuffordd - 1000 feet high, three-acre wildlife garden, with sculptures and even a Zambian beehive! Themed gardens include Japanese, jungle, cottage and formal.

Llanon Beach - pebble beach, nearby museum and thirteenth century church. Fantastic views over Cardigan Bay and access to walks along the coastal path.

Coed Phoenix is a nature reserve so no loud noise or music is allowed. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. No dogs allowed.

Campfires are only allowed in the designated campfire circle area.

Please note the toilet is a compost toilet and there are no showers.
