General

Dews Lake Farm is on the outskirts of Lamphey village with countryside views overlooking the Pembrokeshire National Park. Within a ten-minute drive from the campsite you have the popular seaside town of Tenby, the golden sand beaches of Barafundle and Broad Haven, and the historic castles of Manorbier, Pembroke and Carew.

On site you’ll find grass pitches for tents, campervans and caravans. Facilities have been updated for 2015 and now include seven hot-water showers, separate ladies’ and gents’ toilets and a chemical disposal area. A communal kitchen is available to all guests on site with a washing-up sink, two fridges, a chest freezer, double electric hob and power sockets for charging mobile phones etc. Laundry service is also available on request.

Campfires are allowed provided they are contained within a firepit (available to hire) and you can also purchase your logs and kindling on site to get set up and toasting marshmallows in no time. The site encourages recycling and makes it as easy as possible for guests to be green during their stay with daily bin collections. During busy times (school holidays and bank holiday weekends) caterers visit the site offering delicious home-cooked and home-reared food.

Local attractions

We are just seven miles from the popular seaside town of Tenby. During high season (July/August), we recommend getting the train from Lamphey to Tenby as parking can be difficult.

Manorbier beach is just four miles away with is stunning coastline and landmark castle.

Freshwater East beach, a long stretch of beach great for sea swimming, is four miles away. Freshwater West is 14 miles from us.

Slightly further afield you'll find Bosherton Lily Ponds (11 miles) and Barafundle Bay (seven miles away) for gorgeous walks and stunning vistas.

The pretty town of Pembroke and its castle are just three miles from Dewslake Farm.
