The rural area with a little horse at the entrance and the gentleman who greeted as at the end of our stay

The shower room and toilet was absolutely disgusting very old and worn place, spiders and bugs every where in there, the field was OK but had brambles running under the grass which made a small hole in our air bed, the owner didn't welcome us only had a note stuck on the door although a lovely gentleman did greet us when leaving

From the manager...

Hi Wayne
I did e mail you prior to your arrival explaining that we both work and should we not be here when you arrived there would be a note explaining where everything was on the door and we would see you when we got home , I arrived home at 4pm and went to see you but you had gone off . We don't control how the brambles grow , we keep the grass short and collected after mowing where you chose to pitch was up to you we offered you the whole site being as there was no one else here it was your choice.
You cannot call the toilet / shower disgusting because it was old and worn you have an electric shower , hot water and it is kept as clean as an out door facility can be kept . As for the spiders / bugs again we cannot control where they decide to go .
If you wanted 5 star camping then you need to pay 5 star prices which we don't charge .
You fail to mention despite the pitch up advert and a notice on site stating " no camp fires / disposable BBQ's you ignored this and burnt the grass in three places during your stay .
You say in your review you won't come back , you wouldn't be welcome back ...
