Fans of beach and peace should be stoked at what's on offer at near Kilgetty in Pembrokeshire – a single holiday home a piffling three miles from the sands and scenery of Saundersfoot. The light and airy holiday home sits in its own large garden backing onto fields, is five miles from Tenby, and is within easy reach of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path and the other attractions of south Pembrokeshire like castles, boat trips, theme parks and dolphin spotting. Private off the road parking is next to the holiday home. You'll be (mostly) left to your own devices if staying here – apart from the entertainment provided by Indian Runner ducks Daisy, Indy and Sparkle who live on the far side of the garden: this breed is a stand-up sort (think Jemima Puddle Duck) and has a rather amusing gait when moving about... The Bush Farm team can't allow pets in the holiday home and the accommodation is non-smoking.

Local attractions

Lashings of beachy, family and ye olde attractions and activities are all around this part of Wales, from the sands of Tenby, Saudersfoot, Haverfordwest, Wisemans Bridge and Amroth to family theme parks, watersports and trekking around ancient Welsh castles. Paintballing and go-karting are just down the road from the site and the Pembrokeshire Coast Path is within a quick drive. Families have Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo, Oakwood Theme Park, Anna's Welsh Zoo, Heatherton World of Adventures and Clerkenhill Adventure Farm and Frizbee Golf Course in the vicinity for many energetic days out; boat trips, seal and dolphin spotting, sailing and other watersports are all easy to arrange close by. Carew, Pembroke and Manorbier castles are all in the area (a beach is at Manobier for added sandy and surfy shenanigans), with more old attractions at Caldey Island from Tenby, at the Teifi Valley Railway and at the town of Carmarthen with another ye olde Welsh castle.
