What a fantastic week we had at Tretio. The facilities are very clean and site very well maintained. Lara and Rellie are always there to answer any queries and are very informative about the local area. They both played a big part in helping us get the most out of our 7 day visit. This is a safe family friendly site, that I would highly recommend.

The friendliness of the campsite and the facilities.
We arrived later than expected due to traffic and had to pitch our tent in very windy weather, two of our tent poles snapped and we thought we would have to call it a day and find a B&B for our stay. The managers of the site could not have done enough for us finding tent poles and helping us get the tent up and secure.
The facilities were great, clean toilets and showers no matter what time of day or night and the play ares safe and secure for little ones.
We will definitely return next year.

We stayed 5 days in August 2017. We hadnt been to the site before but having read the great reviews relied on this to confirm this as a good pick. We camped with our 2 young sons (Age 7 and 3) and they had an absolute ball. There were a number of other children on the site and they made friends quickly and had enormous amounts of fun. The good thing about the site is that its not huge, but has ample space for the kids to play, but away from peoples tents and to have lots of fun without the need for constant oversight. We were in pitch 21 so pretty close to the playarea which allowed us to keep an eye on our little one from our tent/chairs. The site managers were great and very friendly and ensured that there was no children roaming/making noise after 10pm. There was lots to do nearby with good beaches, walks and eating (both in St Davids but also surrounding villages - we particularly enjoyed eating at The Sloop). The site is pretty remote, but that was one of the things we really liked. We would certainly go back again. Toilets and showers are good for a campsite of this size and were kept spotless.

    Disliked:

Nothing. However, it would have been good to be walking distance to a local pub/eatery but this is hardly the owners fault!

Tretio campsite is a small site which suited us perfectly for our first time camping for more than a night! The facilities were clean and within close proximity to the pitches which was handy with young children. There was a small playground and football field for the kids to enjoy, which was a hit with them. Lara and Reilly the site managers were lovely, so friendly and accommodating making a huge effort to speak to all campers. Some entertainment was even put on by a local singer on the Wednesday evening which was an unexpected bonus. There was also a small shop which stocked some basic items like milk and some sweets which was useful. You are within driving distance of some lovely beaches would definitely recommend Marloe Sands beach a bit of a trek from car park but totally worth it!

    Disliked:

Being at least 30 minutes drive from any big supermarket chain but there is a small supermarket within a few miles at St David's. You also have to pay for WiFi £10 for about a week but not too extortionate.

From the manager...

Glad you enjoyed your stay, we hope it has encouraged you to have more camping adventures in the future.

The site facilities are extremely well maintained and conveniently positioned.
There was allways plenty of hotwater in the showers and washing areas.
The pitches are level and generous in size with electric points. The camping fields are beautifully mown and the site in general has a 5 star appearance
The site managers were very helpfull and knowledgable with regard to the local buses, paths and villages and were allways on hand to help in any way they could.
The site is well positioned for the coastal path and St Davids which is approx 3 miles.
I can recommend the site for couples and families alike and I am sure tou will not be disapointed

    Disliked:

I have no dislikes about the site and wish them every success in the future and I look forward to our return

The site location was great, being only a short drive to stunning beaches, cliff top walks and St Davids. The site was immaculately clean, family friendly, safe, lots to do and the couple managing the site were simply lovely - v helpful.

    Disliked:

We loved it, but a minor daily dispute with our kids was who was going to walk to get the water! Individual water taps at each camping pitch would be perfect.

From the manager...

thanks for your review, glad you enjoyed your stay , hope you won the daily water dispute with the kids!

Absolutely loved our weeklong stay at the site. The weather was, as we like to call it 'challenging' on one of the evenings but nothing could dampen our enjoyment of staying at the site.

Rellie and Lara went out of their way to ensure that everyone at the site had a great stay. They were always on hand if we needed advice on the area, updates on the weather forecast or just to have a chat.

The site was well kept and the facilities were clean and well maintained. Our pitch was in the second field without electric hook up however sockets were available in the in the laundry room along with a kettle, fridge and freezer. The views of the country side were lovely and a pleasure to wake up to in the morning.

Countryside site with well kept spacious (level) grass and electric hookup pitches with outlook onto nearby fields and well away from traffic noise. Friendly helpful wardens and clean toilet, shower and dish washing facilities.

Guides to local walks are provided at reception, and of course being Pembrokeshire the walking and cycling experiences are great.

Conveniently a few minutes walk along the campsite access lane brings you to the road where the local bus to and from St. Davids can be requested.

    Disliked:

Not the fault of the campsite, but there no pubs in reasonable walking distance.

From the manager...

Glad you enjoyed the site and local area. As well as the local strumble shuttle bus we have numbers for our local taxi services, who will happily book outward and return trips from site.
