  • A quiet, rural site with open country views and wonderful sunsets.
  • 3 miles from the coast and glorious coast path, ideal for cycling.
  • A peaceful retreat after a busy day at the beach.

Forming part of our smallholding, the site offers a peaceful rural base with plenty of space for playing, exercising the dog or sitting by the campfire. You are quite likely to see badgers, foxes, bats and all manner of birds including the wheeling displays of starlings in the autumn. All the pitches are level, two offer hard standing for caravans, and those wishing for a more seclusion can find a place in the meadow area away from other pitches. There is a simple washing up area and somewhere to rinse and hang wetsuits. Hook-up and wifi are included. We produce most of our own food and should have fresh produce, eggs and honey for sale when in season, and I am happy to bake bread to order.

Local attractions

The best of Pembrokeshire is available freely on the doorstep: the National Park offers wonderful beaches, surf or quiet coves, and the stunning coast path for walking - a photographer's paradise, superb whatever the weather. Surfing, kite surfing, kayaking and coasteering are all within easy reach, along with all manner of boat trips, dolphin watching, fishing etc. If you like golf with a view try White Sands. St David's with its wonderful cathedral is six miles to the West, Fishguard, with ferries to Ireland, a little further to the East. The charming riverside village of Solva is just to the South. There are a variety of places to shop and eat, everything from local pubs to gourmet - we love to sample and advise! There is a great tradition of art and craft in the area, wonderful local produce to be purchased, and a fine tradition of 'Saints and stones' for those with an interest in history and culture. And don't forget Pembrokeshire's many famous castles! There is an annual music festival centred on St David's Cathedral and another in Fishguard, including famous male voice choirs; and even open air Shakespeare in the atmospheric ruins on the Bishop's Palace during August. So our beautiful county really offers something for eveyone!
