With the kids out of bounds, a little birdie tells us that guests at adults-only Wernddu Farm Golf Club could be in for treat. Owned by three generations of the same family, not only is the long-established and welcoming site (which first opened its field back in 1976) right next to a golf course, but its private fishing lake also makes sure things are perfectly ‘above par’ for grown-ups seeking some relaxing and quiet activities on their holiday.
Tents, tourers and motorhomes can swing to Wernddu Farm Golf Club to take advantage of a range of facilities which the managers have got down to a tee, including electric hook-ups, water supply and access to greywater waste points. The site really strikes a hole-in-one by missing nothing in the vanity department either - private bathrooms have a loo, shower and wash basin, while separate areas for him and for her have mirrors, plugs for hairdryers and shaver points too. The undercover dishwashing area is well-maintained while the laundry room with a coin-metred washing machine and tumble dryer will ensure your best pair of checks are pristine each and every day when teeing off.
No gimmicks, more gimmie is what we say about seeking a golf-centred hol. Alongside their handy amenities, Wernddu Farm has access to an 18-hole parkland golf course, a driving range and a nine-hole pitch and putt course (extra charges apply) - all of which are just opposite the park, so all you need do is secure yourself a reliable caddy to keep up. The on-site clubhouse is open all day (8am till 11pm) and serves hot food over lunchtime (11am till 3pm - perfect for refuelling, we say). We’ll just warn you - the views from the site over the Black Mountains and Usk Valley may just distract you from beating your par, but we think it’ll be well worth it…
Please note, this is an adults-only site. Single-sex groups of three or more people are not permitted via Pitchup.com

It's now possible to make group bookings on Pitchup.com for up to 30 adults and 30 children.
As long as the 'one unit per pitch' rule is not highlighted on the pitch type information (please check this before completing your booking), you will be able to pitch your tents together on one booking.
If you are not satisfied with the results generated, try breaking your booking down for more options. For example, if you're a group of 10, enter five people for your initial search and book two pitches. Use the 'Special requests' box on the booking page to ask to be sited together when booking multiple pitches or accommodation units: the campsite or park will try to grant your request.
Before booking, please check the listing page for any group restrictions. These normally appear in a section titled 'Please note'. Please also check the restrictions on unit dimensions to ensure your unit - especially for a large party - is suitable for the space you will be provided with.
