Although the immaculately kept Gowerton Caravan Club Site has its own treasures, you'll also find plenty to see inland. Use the caravan park as your starting point and head over to the Vale of Neath, to Aberdulais Falls, and see how the waters have powered numerous industries over three hundred years. Then on to Craig Gwladys where you can walk the forest trails and climb the steep ascent with the hangliders soaring above you. On again to Pont Nedd Fechan, from where you can see nine major waterfalls on four rivers, then into the Brecon Beacons National Park. Swansea is a short bus ride away with its famous indoor market, marina, National Waterfront Museum and shops and cafes. The local, motor home friendly, Swansea Park and Ride is also close by.
