Yet again another fantastic stay here. Even though the meadow was too soggy to pitch on linda was very kind in letting us pitch on the electric side instead. Everyone loved it, the kids particularly enjoyed adventuring around without us as the site is so safe and big enough for them to get a little independence without me worrying they'll get lost.

Loved absolutely everything about this place. Small, friendly, clean. Great toilet/shower facilities and washing up area. Brilliant views, a lovely couple of nights around a camp fire. Took advantage of the fresh eggs for sale, tasty! Walking distance to the local pub and only a little further to the shop

Fantastic campsite, wonderful views, lovely owner who made us feel very welcome, I would recommend this campsite to anyone. We had a great time; kids, adults and dogs alike. We were allowed to hang up our hammock between the trees on our pitch (you can also choose pitches without trees and uninterrupted views, but we wanted more privacy). The views from the tyre swing are absolutely unrivalled! Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. You can buy the eggs of the local chickens, as well as some basic food and there is a small cupboard with free books. We will definitely be back!

Hope the new shower and toilet block is ready soon, it looks amazing!

Linda was very helpful and friendly. The flat pitches had great views. The facilities are fairly basic but have everything you need including a kettle and tea bags. Loved the nightime fairy lights.
Pub at the bottom of the road has good food, even for vegetarians.

    Disliked:

Lovely site and lovely owner, very clean, facilities checked and cleaned regularly. Good size pitches. Being told local knowledge of the area and best places to go was a nice touch as was the fresh eggs for sale in the utility. Also emailed Linda prior to arriving about bringing the kids bike to ride on site, received very quick response and was no problem to do this.
Thanks Linda for the lovely stay.

    Disliked:

Not much on site (not a criticism) so if you have small children take plenty of indoor/outdoor games to keep them occupied. Informed of new/extra toilet/shower unit being built, was quite busy during our stay so would make this a priority. Again not complaining just being informative but being next to a working farm machinery noise starts at 6am and can go on until 10pm.

Great site. Linda and family were very helpful and friendly, greeting on arrival and providing great info for the local area and things to do. The site is small, so expected it to be cramped, but the pitches were a great size for our large tent. On site facilities included 1 toilet and shower each for males and females, and a chemical unisex loo. despite quite a few people on site we didn't have to queue for these, and always found them very clean and well stocked. Washing up room was great with a kettle and tea if we wanted them, with a great selection of information leaflets and local info. A tyre swing and table tennis kept the kids entertained too. A great personal service from Linda, who always checked thing were going good. A very quiet site with lots of local wildlife.

    Disliked:

Showers were a bit hit and miss, sometimes being cold.
