the access road was so bad we only just got van up there out grass and hard standing pitch was a muddy patch with a drop down to big pond rite at the side and we were told our electric hook up lead was somewhere in the hedge we couldnt stay there it was that bad we drove straight out

From the manager...

Lying B-----. The roads have just been upgraded. The pitch allocated for them was used a few days previous by some one who booked for one night and stayed for 3 nights because they enjoyed it so much. They did not ask me for another pitch. I had 9 other caravans on site at that time Not one of them complained. Look at my other reviews where people were so happy to spend time with us here.
Some people like to complain for the sake of it.

We loved our stay, from the beginning we were welcomed with delight despite our late arrival at the gates . Bob immediately took us to our camping site . Where we set our tent and the gazebo which was near to an electric suppliers which we didnt have the cable for , but Bob offered it for us even with out asking. Bob looks after the camp site and he is very friendly three times a day he checks on us and asks if we requires any thing. In our second night we ran out wood we call late that night to ask for wood and in five minutes he provided with all we needed .
This was our first time camping and it was a great experience for us , any one there who it is their first time too and you probably going through all the reviews and wondering where would be a best place to go to . You should definitely consider Llandyfan Camping and Fishing with no hesitations. I was really puzzled where to go espacially it was my wife birthday and she always wanted to go camping and of course thinking of my 3 years old boy's safety but after visiting Llandyfan Camping and Fishing i will definitely do it again and recommend it to all my friend.
Toiltes ,showers and kitchens are all clean with warm water. They are hardly noticeable which for me was a great thing .it made me feel more in the wild with trees all around and the lake (that Bob dug him self "which I found it to be a real inspiration " especially if u see how big it is.

I read all the reviews before going , but since i went and experience it my self , I was really compelled to write this comment as none of the reviews were fair enough.
Another thing need to be noted that we visited during winter and the above was our experience acn you imagine how it would of been if the camping was in the Summer!?

water tap on bottom of campsite
would be nice to have tap on top of site
so you dont have to lump 40 liters of water uphill

From the manager...

Thank you for your comments. There is a pipe by the post in the field which is waiting to be connected so there will be a water point in the future in the middle of the field.

An excellent site with clean facilities and peaceful location. The owner, Bob, couldn't be more helpful and we enjoyed chatting to him during our stay. For £6 you can get a fire pit and wood from him for a campfire which was the perfect way to end our weekend there. Would thoroughly recommend!

Great camp site, beautiful lake, nice shower facility, fresh drinking water. Bob our host was super accommodating and made us feel very welcome. On his recommendation we enjoyed a really nice walk up a hill/mountain nearby. He provided us with firewood and a fire container for £6 which was really worth it. I would definitely go again!

The pitches are in a bit of a down hill slope which was a slight issue with an 8'man tent but we managed to find a flat spot.
