Bryncoch Farm is a peaceful camping log pods site on the edge of the Black Mountains, within the Brecon Beacons National Park.

Open all year, the centrepiece of the campsite is a well stocked fishing lake, with a variety of fish species including carp. All the campsite pitches are flat and positioned around the outside of the lake. There is no charge to fish but please bring your own fishing equipment.

The slow pace of life on the campsite makes it the perfect place to take a well-earned break, whether for fishing or simply relaxing. For the more energetic, the farm is a great base for walking, hill running or cycling.

Bryncoch Farm was bought by the Richardson family some 40 years ago and was a working farm until about ten years ago when the family decided to diversify. Given the location and natural surroundings, the obvious solution was to branch into tourism and leisure. The owner Trevor Richardson chose a flat three-acre paddock and developed it to encourage wildlife to the land. He also created his own lake, using the stream that had run through the paddock.

The campsite has now matured beautifully, with lots of natural diversity. Trees and plants surround the site, ducks and geese live on the lake, and the lake has been stocked with various species of fish.
