Local attractions

Little Red Train has its own stop on the Talyllyn Railway: just flag the train and it will stop. It can take you to beautiful waterfalls at Dolgoch, to a café and a children's play park at Aberganolwyn, or provide you with easy access to beaches and shops in Tywyn, a fun coastal town with plenty of things to do.

The site is a ten-minute drive to Cader Idris. It is also located above the coastal bike routes to Tywyn and the broad water, and 20 minutes away from Aberdyfi.

Barmouth and the Mawddach estuary are 40 minutes away with a kids' indoor play barn and pottery, along with a spectacular flat bike ride to Dolgellau. The list of things to see and do is endless: just ask the staff at the campsite for ideas.
