See all facilities…

Whether its walking, cycling, hill walking or just chilling out, Ruberslaw Wild Woods Camping is the place to stay. An Edwardian walled garden provides the location for the campsite.

We opened the walled garden camping in July 2012 and are improving our facilities daily. We have a newly opened shop selling local produce and some camping essentials, and wifi is now available on site. Campfires are allowed in fire bowls. Be one of the first to enjoy this beautiful location. Having only just opened we have plenty of spaces for that last minute getaway.

Take a walk over to Denholm and enjoy food at on of the two pubs or a snack in the cafe. There is also a butcher, post office and Italian restaurant. With a seemingly endless variety of attractions and activities available you'll be spoilt for choice.

8. Exceptional Circumstances: In very exceptional circumstances we may have to re-arrange or cancel your booking. In such circumstances any balance payment will be refunded in full, but only if we are unable to offer you alternative dates that suit you. However if such re-arrangment or cancellation becomes necessary as a result of force majeure (i.e. including Acts of God (such as fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane or other natural disaster), war hostilities invasion or act of foreign enemies (whether war is declared or not), civil war rebellion revolution or insurrection, terrorist activities, strike labour dispute or lockout, or interruption or failure of services provided by utility companies, and all events we cannot anticipate and which are beyond our control that prevent or disrupt performance of the contract) then we shall accept no liability, pay no refund nor compensation, nor meet any of your consequential expenses.

9. Payment for damage caused: We will seek financial compensation for damage to our, our neighbours' or our other clients' property caused by you willfully or through lack of due care and attention. Such action will not be taken unreasonably or without prior discussion with you.

11. Refusal of entry: We reserve the right to refuse entrance to our facilities to anyone who, in our judgment, may be at risk of non-compliance with the rules, terms and conditions. In such circumstances no refunds will be made. Such action will not be taken unreasonably or without prior discussion with the parties.

13. Complaints & dissatisfaction: If you become dissatisfied in any way with the facilities and services provided, you must raise the matter firstly with camp staff. If the matter cannot be put right by them, you must make a written complaint within 21 days of departure to enable us to investigate it fully. No complaint will be accepted if these 2 steps have not been completed. If in our judgement the complaint is justified we will offer such recompense or compensation as we believe is warranted.
