Set in a stunning coastal location on the Colvend Coastline (also known as Scotland’s Riviera) the holiday park has a bluebell woodland with woodland walks onsite which is inhabited by a population of Red Squirrels, which are often spotted by are visitors as they forage for food. As well as our woodland, there is an adventure playground, a junior playground and a fully stocked shop on site. Just a short 15 minute stroll from the park is Kippford Village, with its friendly pub, marina, small shops, shell beaches and coastal walks on to Rockcliffe and Sandyhills. Our holiday park is also just yards away from the Dalbeattie Forest 7 Stanes Mountain Bike Trails so it is perfect for any mountain biking enthusiasts.
Our woodland walks have some fabulous viewpoints from where on a clear day you can see across the sea to the Lake District looking south and into the Galloway Hills in the north.

Many sites set a maximum occupancy of 6/8 people per pitch, so try breaking your booking down into smaller groups to generate more results. For example, if you’re a group of 10, enter 5 people in your initial search and then book 2 pitches.
However, where the pitch or accommodation occupancy allows it, you can make a booking for up to 30 adults and 30 children in one booking.
To book multiple pitches or accommodation, use the 'Special requests' box on the booking page to ask to be sited together. Complete the booking form for the first booking (you can add a password and save your card so that we remember your details). Then click "Make another booking like this" at the top of the confirmation page to make the next booking.

From the Dumfries bypass take the A711 to Dalbeattie, then turn left onto the A710 (signposted for the Colvend Coast).
The Park entrance is on the A710, 3½ miles further along - on the right approximately 200 yards straight past the junction for Kippford village.

We are within easy reach of the Dalbeattie Forest Mountain Bike Trail (one of the 7 Stanes Routes) just 300 metres from the Park entrance. In all there are over 17km of cycling trails linking Dalbeattie to Colvend, Sandyhills and Kippford; these three villages being just a short ride outside the Forest itself.
There are also Gentle Family Routes are suitable for the whole family, with clearly marked trails, leaflets are available at Reception. Ask for more details.
From Kippford an extremely pretty coastal walk passes the beach and follows the shore to the neighbouring seaside village of Rockcliffe. Stop here for a snack and decide which of the way-marked forest trails to use to return to the Park. Longer coastal trails can be followed one way, using the local bus to get back.
For those more intrested in star gazing, we are also a short drive away from the UK's first Dark Sky Park where you can enjoy some of the darkest skies around and see millions of stars in the night sky.
