  • Scenic and peaceful, perfectly situated to explore Wiltshire.

Situated at the foot of the Marlborough Downs in one of England’s most picturesque counties, Blackland Lakes offers all-year-round camping and fishing within a beautiful and tranquil rural setting.

We are well situated for both touring and sight-seeing, with many of Wiltshire’s historical landmarks (Silbury Hill, Stonehenge, Avebury, West Kennet Long Barrows, The White Horses, etc) a stone’s throw away.

The seventeen acres is divided into secluded grass paddocks and some hardstanding pitches more suitable for all-weather touring. We are also able to offer storage and seasonal pitches by arrangement.

Two coarse fishing lakes offer good fishing, with Carp,Tench, Perch, Roach, Bream and Gudgeon, while another lake is set aside for wildfowl and provides a home for our resident pygmy goats.

Blackland Lakes is a family friendly site, with all the necessary facilities available such as a well-stocked & licensed campsite shop, mother & baby rooms, children’s’ play area & equipment, and two main amenities buildings that blend in well with the natural surroundings. We also have a covered BBQ area, capable of accommodating up to 100 persons, with a kitchen and licensed bar available for groups to hire.
