Welcome to Lillypool Cafe and Campsite near Cheddar, Somerset. We are in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, so you can enjoy the scenery along with relative peace and quiet while you relax on this family-friendly site.
As we're located within the Mendip Hills, we're in an ideal location for walkers to explore the surrounding area. We're also only a short distance away from one of England’s iconic landscapes Cheddar Gorge.

Many sites set a maximum occupancy of 6/8 people per pitch, so try breaking your booking down into smaller groups to generate more results. For example, if you’re a group of 10, enter 5 people in your initial search and then book 2 pitches.
However, where the pitch or accommodation occupancy allows it, you can make a booking for up to 30 adults and 30 children in one booking.
To book multiple pitches or accommodation, use the 'Special requests' box on the booking page to ask to be sited together. Complete the booking form for the first booking (you can add a password and save your card so that we remember your details). Then click "Make another booking like this" at the top of the confirmation page to make the next booking.

From the M5, exit at junction 22. Take the A38 north and continue for about 7 miles. Please follow brown tourist signs (Cheddar Gorge) and continue onto the A371 then the B3135. Follow the signs to Shipham towards Cheddar.
From Bristol (18 miles)
Take the A38 then the A371 and B3135, or take the A37 then the B3135. Follow the signs to Shipham.
From Bath (23 miles)
Take the A39 then the B3135. Follow the signs to Cheddar, then onto Shipham.
Trains run direct to Bristol Temple Meads from London (Paddington), Leeds, Plymouth, Edinburgh, Sheffield, Exeter, Glasgow, Derby, Portsmouth, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Birmingham (New Street), Southampton, Carlisle and Cardiff.
Take the train from Bristol Temple Meads to Weston-super-Mare.
Take first bus 126 (Sundays 826) to Cheddar.
Our family-friendly campsite is on the outskirts of the village of Cheddar in beautiful Somerset, in a pleasant rural setting of about 14 acres.
You will be near a wealth of attractions including Cheddar Gorge and Caves, Wookey Hole, the medieval city of Wells, Glastonbury Abbey and Tor. Travelling in the alternative direction, you can experience the sights of Weston-super-Mare or the city of Bristol.
We are also near popular walking and cycling routes, fishing lakes and riding schools.
