Our small family-run park has super panoramic views of Portland, Weymouth Bay, as far as Lyme Bay, and right round to the White Horse. We pride ourselves on our well-equipped and well cared for caravans and we are well located for visiting many of Dorset's popular attractions. Sorry, no facilities for tents or tourers.
Short breaks are available outside the peak season and at quieter times we are usually flexible as to arrival days. There is a Co-Op minimarket a half mile down the hill which is open long hours all through our season.

Many sites set a maximum occupancy of 6/8 people per pitch, so try breaking your booking down into smaller groups to generate more results. For example, if you’re a group of 10, enter 5 people in your initial search and then book 2 pitches.
However, where the pitch or accommodation occupancy allows it, you can make a booking for up to 30 adults and 30 children in one booking.
To book multiple pitches or accommodation, use the 'Special requests' box on the booking page to ask to be sited together. Complete the booking form for the first booking (you can add a password and save your card so that we remember your details). Then click "Make another booking like this" at the top of the confirmation page to make the next booking.
Large groups: check the listing page for any group restrictions set out in the terms and section titled ‘Please note’.
Large tents/caravans: check the restrictions on unit dimensions to ensure your unit is suitable for the space you will be provided with.

White Horse Holiday Park is on the A353 between Preston and Osmington, on the left as you go towards Weymouth. We are three miles by road from Weymouth centre and one and a half miles by road from the beach at Overcombe. SatNavs: take care as in some cases users of these have arrived at the farm in valley the other side of the road!
Arriving from the east, Poole or London direction, you can leave the A35 and A31 at Bere Regis and travel via Wool and the A352. Alternatively another two miles on the A35 and you can take the B3390. Either of these is much shorter and quicker than going by Dorchester and Weymouth.
From or via the midlands or any other directions travelling via Dorchester take the A354 towards Weymouth. The Weymouth Relief Road opened in March 2011, leave this at the first roundabout coming from Dorchester, signposted Littlemore, and then follow signs for Preston, and then take the A353 towards Osmington, we are about a half mile up the hill from Preston, on the right.
A car is recommended, but the most convenient railway station will usually be Weymouth where taxis are available. The 4B bus will take you to Preston.
Apart from the beach and the range of facilities and attractions you would expect to find in a popular holiday resort like Weymouth, there are many other things to do and places to visit within a half hour or so drive. This is the heart of the famous and beautiful Jurassic Coast and you can visit Swanage - best visited by the steam railway - Kimmeridge, Lulworth Cove, Portland, the Chesil Beach, West Bay and as far as Lyme Regis, all of these having their own unique and fascinating character.
Inland, the historic county town, Dorchester, has a lot to offer as well as a busy market on Wednesdays, and there are many interesting and picturesque smaller towns and villages. Attractions include Monkey World, the Tank Museum, Abbotsbury Swannery and Subtropical Gardens, Blue Pool, Arne Nature Reserve for a more peaceful outing, and numerous others.
For the more active a full range of watersports are available, also sea angling and freshwater fishing, and there are several golf courses within easy reach. This is a great area for birdwatching and walking too.
