General

  • Family park close to Poole, Studland and Sandbanks
  • Indoor and outdoor pools, amusement arcade, play areas and kids' clubs
  • Bowling, crazy golf, ice cream parlour, restaurant and clubhouse

Sandford Holiday Park is an apt name for this park, which has acres of Britain’s best beaches on its doorstep... From its peaceful woodland setting, guests have easy access to the wide sands of Studland and Sandbanks, as well as lively resorts such as Bournemouth and Poole.

Boredom's not an option at this park, where the activities galore include a summer outdoor and indoor pool complex; a dedicated musical play pool for toddlers; courts for tennis and many other sports; bikes and pedal go-karts for hire, and nature trails crisscrossing the site.

Still standing after all that energetic stuff? Then go swing’n’rolling at the bowling, or take the kids around the jungle-themed crazy golf and reward the winner with an extra scoop at the site’s ice cream parlour.

The park also has three different kids’ clubs, banded by age to make sure top fun is had by all (even the harder-to-please teens should be mildly interested by the film-making and DJ workshops...plus the free wifi on site).

Young’uns will also enjoy the indoor soft play zone and two outdoor play areas, with a pirate ship and a climbing wall as well as the usual playground paraphernalia.

Recharge your batteries at the fish and chip shop or the Arena restaurant, which serves Costa coffee as well as pizzas and lots of other family-friendly meals. Then top it all off with a trip to the Limelite Club for family entertainment, cabaret and competitions from the sparkly Troupers: you should sleep well after that lot...

Large pitch, lots of amenities, close to toilets/showers, incredibly cheap to camp, not too far from Lulworth Cove/Durdle Door.

The electric kept going off. Bear in mind the weather over easter cold and wet.
Was told did the same several weeks before why was it not sorted.
The guy in the touring reception rude.
Waiting for refund for electric. Think should be more as has to go out buy more blankets. Was total nightmare wet clothes cold caravan.
Be cautious booking here if not in summer months.
Thick mud neighbour got stuck wasit 45 mins still tractor never arrived. In the end husband pitched him.
Loads very unhappy people around us with small kids.

Great staff made my holiday stay fab.. 25/03/2018

Really enjoyed my stay here and extended my booking by one day. Enjoyed the entertainment, walking the perimeter with the dog and swimming. I thought the dog walking meadow was fab for off the lead dog walking. The park was well organised, clean and very customer friendly. The staff were able to deal with any issues. I will return here as a camper and use the public transport bus into Swanage. I visited Poole, Swanage, Harry Old Rocks but want to return to visit the vineyard and monkey world. I found free parking in Poole town centre and Swanage. I was very happy here.

    Disliked:

Food was very expensive. The food served was either cold or lukewarm. All food should be probed to ensure hot temperature. The water for the showers on the last day was freezing cold. I reported this issue.

This site is fantastic for keeping children busy lots to do, everything seemed well organised. Staff very helpful. Camping pitches clearly signposted and labelled. We had a a great time children especially loved the swimming pools - would have liked them to be open longer but that's just a personal view as my children are water babies!!

    Disliked:

Unfortunately the cleanliness of the camping area toilets let this site down a lot. While I understand with campers toilet blocks are in constant use I never saw the floor clean, I had a cold shower with the temperature of the shower water being set by the site - again not something I liked as a preference I prefer hot to lukewarm. I definitely think extra cleaners during peak season would be beneficial.
