Very friendly, extremely helpful. Fantastic fire pits. Loved the pathways cut into the grass, meant it was very quiet and you had a lot of space to yourself. Lovely sunsets, and (my daughter reports, I didn't get up that early) lovely misty sunrise.
Nice hot showers, and very clean.

There is nothing to dislike. Patches well spaced out, nice and big, we have a 8 man tent and we could of fitted 2 more of the same size onto our patch. Only 3. Bell tents on site and 4 patches to set up tents, so nice and peaceful. Path mowed to each patch and so that no other campers intruded your space. No houses around just open fields and hills in the distance. Hens roaming freely, the sounds of geese, and a few cows in the distance. Free range eggs, logs, kidding, charcoal could be bought from the owners. Two washing up sinks, 2 shower rooms with loos all with very hot water and very clean. Even a compost loo should the shower rooms be engaged. Owners very friendly and welcoming. Very nice peaceful well relaxed few days camping, differently going back.

Beautiful site, really quiet and a lovely view. The private pitch areas are a great idea. Our tent was absolutely huge for the 3 of us, and there were mattresses provided so very comfortable! Great, clean facilities with everything you need close by. Owner was very friendly and came to make sure we had everything we needed. We had a lovely time and wish we could have stayed longer, will definitely be back again!

Loved the relaxed, private but not antisocial layout of the campsite. Nice open space for children to run around. You can see where other pitches are but you are not right next to each other.

Clean and well maintained communal facilities incl. showers, toilets, washing-up sinks and recycling/rubbish disposal areas. Tom (the campsite manager) looked after us very well and is very friendly and approachable.

They sell their own meat produce - handy when you want to have a fry up in the morning. Only bad thing is that we couldn't stay longer.

My wife, daughter and I are regular campers and we don't usually leave reviews but I felt compelled to do so for Haddon Copse Farm because this campsite is a gem. I camped over with my daughter for one night.
There are only seven pitches allowed in a large field. The pitches and pathways are mowed short through the meadow. Each pitch is extremely generous and includes a brick rimmed fire pit. The views are fantastic and it was so quiet. You leave your car in a small carpark next to the campsite and move your gear in large wheel barrows to your pitch. This just added to the peace and quiet. On a bank holiday Monday afternoon the only things we could hear were insects and birds. No traffic or campsite noise whatsoever.
The facilities were spotless with solar powered, piping hot power showers in enclosed bathrooms with toilet and sink. Very clean washing up facilities and a freezer for ice blocks if required. You could order food, collect wood from the pile and leave your money in the honesty box. A lovely touch. The bins were clearly labelled for recycling waste.
There's a relaxing nature trail through the woods which brought you back through the farm - free range chickens, geese, cows, sheep and pigs. There's a map and instructions for the walk on the wall by the bathroom. We met the owners who were extremely friendly. The campsite has been designed as one that the owners would like to stay at - quiet, non electric, no groups and for us it ticked every box.
Had a superb evening relaxing in front of a roaring fire, watched the sunset and saw all the stars come out. I did sample some of their fresh eggs for breakfast which I'd thoroughly recommend. Perfect. Many thanks. Score 11/10!

Haddon Copse Farm is situated on the Sturminster Newton to Hazelbury Bryan road – do not take the fingerpost turning to Fifehead Neville but continue for 150 yards and you will see our wooden farm sign. At the top of the track, on the left, there is a car-parking area. Park here and use one of the barrows to take your belongings to one of the pitches marked in the field or to one of the bell tent if you are hiring one. No vehicles on the campsite field! Settle yourselves in and we will come and see you at some point.
