Due to building work Cowden Farm is closed for 2015.

Cowden Farm is a 36-acre family-owned smallholding reinvesting its profit into the farm. During the working week, Cowden Farm operates as a care centre for adults with a learning disabilities.

We have a small garden nursery selling plants and freshly cut flowers to the local community and we are also very proud of the fruit and vegetables we grow in our allotment area. The site has two hot showers that can be used free of charge.

All the animals on our farm have been rescued and we make Cowden Farm their home for life and welcome campers to come and meet them. The campsite is located in Charminster, just 2.5 miles from Dorchester town centre, and on a flat meadow grass right next to the beautiful River Cerne.
