- Family and Dog friendly site nestled in the West Dorset countryside.
*We have improved our site since last year, so our pitches are now bigger!!*
Come and stay at Pineapple Farm, a hidden gem nestled in the West Dorset countryside. Perfect for those Jurassic Coast explorers, seaside lovers and fans of Broadchurch.
In walking distance are two pubs as well as cider and vineyard tours, whilst on site we have an apple orchard, perfect for children and dogs to run around and play. We also have a local ice cream producer on site. So, grab a spoon and come stay at Pineapple!

Many sites set a maximum occupancy of 6/8 people per pitch, so try breaking your booking down into smaller groups to generate more results. For example, if you’re a group of 10, enter 5 people in your initial search and then book 2 pitches.
However, where the pitch or accommodation occupancy allows it, you can make a booking for up to 30 adults and 30 children in one booking.
To book multiple pitches or accommodation, use the 'Special requests' box on the booking page to ask to be sited together. Complete the booking form for the first booking (you can add a password and save your card so that we remember your details). Then click "Make another booking like this" at the top of the confirmation page to make the next booking.
Large groups: check the listing page for any group restrictions set out in the terms and section titled ‘Please note’.
Large tents/caravans: check the restrictions on unit dimensions to ensure your unit is suitable for the space you will be provided with.

Pineapple Farm is situated just outside Salway Ash, near Bridport in Dorset. We are just off the B3162 and it is therefore, virtually silent at night - apart from the occasional wildlife noises.
From Salway Ash, follow the signs for Pineapple Business Park, drive on to the Park and from there the campsite will be signposted. (Don't worry, the campsite is not in the Business Park - it's just the easiest way for you to get to us!)
Within a 10-15 minute walk, along footpaths which are directly accessible from the campsite, you have the choice of two pubs, with the nearest farmshop a short five minute drive away. Whilst in Bridport, there are many local family run shops, cafes and restaurants as well as larger well-known supermarkets.
In the surrounding area, we are lucky enough to have numerous local pubs including: The Hare and Hounds, Waytown; The Ilchester Arms, Symondsbury and The Half Moon in Melplash. Along with many award winning restaurants such as: The Wild Garlic, Beaminster run by Mat Follas - winner of Master Chef 2009; Hix Oyster and Fish House, Lyme Regis; The Riverside Restaurant, West Bay; The Bridge House Hotel, Beaminster; The Bull Hotel and The Stable Pizza and Cidar Bar, Bridport; Avenue, Bridport and The Hive, Burton Bradstock.
There is also an array of lovely seaside towns and beaches to visit including: Westbay - five miles, Eype - six miles, Burton Bradstock - seven miles east and Lyme Regis - 13 miles to the west. Or, for larger towns there is Yeovil - 18 miles north, Dorchester - 14 miles east or Weymouth, the host of the Olympic sailing with sandy beaches - less than 40 minutes drive away
