Nice little campsite, good value for money, lovely location, great pub with delicious food.

    Disliked:

Limited facilities and long wait for the only shower, but easily made up for in the price and location.

Tucked away amidst some beautiful scenery, a little gem! Fantastic pub serving some sumptuous meals at a reasonable price.

    Disliked:

Only one shower and one toilet which is in serious need of modernisation. You will need chocks as pitches are sloping, some steeper than others.

Excellent location and being attached to the pub is brilliant.

Thursday night is bikers night which as bike lover was interesting.

Live music in the pub is always entertaining.

Pub serves great food and offers cooked breakfasts for campers.

    Disliked:

The camping toilet and shower could do with a spring clean (in contrast the pub toilets were very clean).

No wifi for the campers, wifi only available if you are sat in the bar.

The pitches are quite close together, so no privacy at all.

One minor issue was the bins and recycling, the bins just weren't clearly marked so all the rubbish was chucked into one bin.

The toilet and shower facilities were really not very good. If the bathroom was more pleasant the site would be fab.

Arrived when it raining, and quickly went into the pub, had a lovely meal and some drinks (always helps combat the weather), and managed to dry off, even the dog was served water at the table too. Food was really good, nice homemade Beef & Ale pie.

Stay for a couple of nights, campsite is attached to the pub, which is very handy. Outside loo and shower room open all hours, and when the pubs open, we used the loos in there.

We also had full 4G signal here, so mobile phone & internet good on 4G! (Anybody that can't get this signal, needs a new phone!)

    We will be back.

    Disliked:

Outside loo could be cleaner, and better equipped with soap & toilet rolls, but don't let this put you off, very handy little camp site..

    Disliked:

Pitch was only separated from pub car park by an old railway sleeper. Someone moved my ramps which were left out so that I could drive straight onto them when I returned. They also drove over my matting, that was also left out, bending a 6" nail peg at a 90 degree angle. I know it was cheap but only one toilet and one shower that was also being used by a load of wedding guests that pitched in a nearby field. No washing up facilities. Went for a meal in the pub on Saturday night and 3 of the 5 "Favourite" meals were off the menu. Not a good experience.
