  • Features private airstrip with restored aircraft
  • Large powered or non-powered pitches available
  • Within easy reach of Branscombe Beach

Branscombe Airfield Campsite sits within just four miles of Sidmouth, Seaton and Beer. It is situated on the edge of Branscombe Village, known to be the longest village in the UK and in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Brancombe Airfield Campsite has its own private airstrip which is home to a range of vintage and classic aircraft including Tiger Moth, Stearman and Waco - just to mention a few. The resident pilots and restoration team will be happy to show campers the current line up of aircraft and you will even see some occasional flight activity.

For campers, there is plenty of wide open space with views of rolling Devon countryside and distant sea views. Our pitches are extra large and are available as powered or non-powered pitches. The new management have refurbished the loos and free-to-use showers, as well as adding a brand new utilities block. A washing-up area and launderette with washing machine and tumble drier are also available.

We have a safe and enclosed play area for children with plenty of space to play football and other outdoor activities. Even a rainy day won't ruin the fun with small indoor games room also available. Foodies will find two Good Pub Guide pubs within a mile and a half – one within a short 10 minute stroll – or you could take the dog on a dander on the nearby walks around the East Devon coast.

Branscombe Beach is within easy reach of the campsite and sits in stunning Lyme Bay, right on the world Heritage Jurassic Coast with National Trust coastal walks and beautiful views across the coast line.
