Enjoying a level, parkland setting adjacent to the River Plym, Riverside Caravan Park is a friendly, family owned touring park convenient for all that Plymouth and south Devon has to offer. We welcome caravans, motorhomes and tents and also have convenient ferry pitches for those arriving late or leaving early.
Our attractive and reasonably priced bar, restaurant and takeaway is open at Easter and then from the end of May to September with entertainment in the high season. We also have a heated outdoor swimming pool (end of May to mid September) and a children's play park.
Reception (also with a shop area featuring essentials) is open 365 days a year and we take great pride in ensuring that our toilet and shower facilities are clean and well maintained.
Plymouth City Centre, the world famous Hoe and Barbican and The National Marine Aquarium are all less than four miles away as is the Brittany Ferries terminal with sailings to Roscoff in France and Santander in Spain. Featured in the film Sense and Sensibility, the National Trust's Saltram House is located less than two miles away.
For the active amongst you we have a dry ski slope within walking distance, two golf clubs within four miles and the natural splendour of Dartmoor National Park approximately six miles away. Great walking and cycle routes which can take you to Dartmoor can also be accessed from our entrance.

Thank you for your review. I would like to point out that we do have a dedicated disabled shower room. The price of our wifi does get cheaper for the longer period used. Our rules are for the comfort of all our customers and are common sense.

We are not part of the caravan club. I am sure that most people would be happy about signing their visitors in as part of security as we do need to know who is on site because if anything went missing I am sure we would be to blame if we do not know who is on site. We prefer visitors to park their cars in our car park as it can get very congested on the road through the site if there are lots of vehicles around a particular caravan. We do have lots of dog walks just outside the site which are still on the site's land. There is a lovely walk along the river bank and we have wood to the back of us where you can walk your dog.
