Don't go!!!!!!!!!! 06/10/2016

    Nothing

    Disliked:

No staff to help, felt like I was driving through a scrap yard as dismantled cars everywhere apart from where the rusty washing machines are.
Toilets and showers a disgrace, I wouldn't use them (photos added) so waited until I got home again.

Local attractions

Known as the English Riviera because of its mild climate and miles of sandy beaches, this small corner of Devon is ideal for fishing, watersports, golf, climbing, hiking and biking.

Moustache twirlers and Poirot fans can follow the footsteps of the queen of crime along Torquay’s Agatha Christie Mile, taking you to Torquay Museum, Cary Gardens, Princess Gardens and the twelfth century Torre Abbey. Also in Torquay, take a trip to Kents Cavern, the marine aquarium and the miniature Babbacombe Model Village, all popular tourist attractions.

The nearby town of Paignton has the Paignton and Dartmouth Steam Railway to puff along, and the longest established steam railway in the South West, the South Devon Railway, starts off at Buckfastleigh 13 miles from Kingsland. Paignton Zoo is also well worth a look, and Preston Sands and Elberry Cove handy for watersports and jetskiing.

Elizabethan enthusiasts can go below deck at the Golden Hind in Brixham, the replica of Sir Francis Drake’s globe-travelling ship; if this whets your appetite for all things nautical, hire a boat at the quayside for fishing and sightseeing.

To hike around more historical attractions, National Trust properties, museums, castles, abbeys and historic villages all close to hand.

Must see
