General
By George, peaceful Oakcliff Holiday Park is in a prime location: eight acres of lawn and parkland around a Georgian house 600 yards from the Blue Flag beach, sand dunes and 500-acre nature reserve of Dawlish Warren – and a ten-minute drive from the rides and slides of the Crealy Great Adventure Park.
Oakcliff is also the sister site of Lady’s Mile Holiday Park a two-minute walk/ten-minute drive away, and guests have free access to the lashings of facilities there to keep little squirts happy. Ask for your passes at reception when you arrive and let the kids take their pick from heated indoor and outdoor pools, a 63-metre water flume and plunge pool, paddling pool and SplashZone, or the eight-metre high Everest Tower and slides at the roomy adventure playground. For more grown-up concerns, there’s a bar, takeaway, restaurant, cash point, licensed shop and two launderettes.
Back at base, Oakcliff has its own heated outdoor pool with decking area and a paddling pool, wifi access, launderette and a play area.
Find nearby sites with availability…
Many sites set a maximum occupancy of 6/8 people per pitch, so try breaking your booking down into smaller groups to generate more results. For example, if you’re a group of 10, enter 5 people in your initial search and then book 2 pitches.
However, where the pitch or accommodation occupancy allows it, you can make a booking for up to 30 adults and 30 children in one booking.
To book multiple pitches or accommodation, use the 'Special requests' box on the booking page to ask to be sited together. Complete the booking form for the first booking (you can add a password and save your card so that we remember your details). Then click "Make another booking like this" at the top of the confirmation page to make the next booking.
Large groups: check the listing page for any group restrictions set out in the terms and section titled ‘Please note’.
Large tents/caravans: check the restrictions on unit dimensions to ensure your unit is suitable for the space you will be provided with.

Local attractions
Head for Exmoor, Exmouth, Dartmoor, the towns and cities of the south Devon coast, over borders into Dorset, Somerset and Cornwall for a wealth of Westcountry attractions – or just stick close to the sands and lounge on one of the many beaches abounding in the area.
Family-friendly Dawlish Warren beach is worth at least a couple of days whether you’re a sun worshipper or wetsuit warrior: it stretches for miles and is crammed with activities for all tastes such as rides, amusements, mini and 18-hole golf and fizzing free events like fireworks displays and children’s entertainers (it’s lifeguarded all summer too).
Nature spotters can nurture their passion all around Dawlish and the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, starting off at the acclaimed 500-acre Dawlish Warren Nature Reserve at the mouth of the River Exe to watch wildfowl, waders and other local critters; dolphins are often spotted along this shoreline too. There are miles of nature trails and walks in valley and on coast here, or take a steam trip from Dawlish Warren to see what’s spottable from the South Devon Railway along the River Exe.
From Dawlish, make for Dartmoor to the Miniature Pony Centre has nature trails, pony treks and talks; there are miles of bridleways and bike paths on Dartmoor and in Exmoor National Park for more feet-friendly nature trailing. Or see critters up close at a Devon menagerie: Paignton Zoo, the National Marine Aquarium or Pennywell Farm are all good family options.
Got little monkeys on board? Take them to swing among the trees at Go Ape in Exeter or whirl about the rides and zoo farm at Woodlands Family Theme Park.
