It was fabulous. We were a family with children 1, 3, 11 and 13. We stayed in a safari tent which was brilliantly equipped. We've been glamping before but this was on another level. The hosts were brilliant, really welcoming and helpful with ideas for the children etc. The site is small, quiet and welcoming. Some beautiful bell tents on site too. You would need a car but there's loads to get too within half an hour. Uffculme is about 2 miles up the lane with 2 parks, cafe, pubs and shop. There is also a lovely pub within walking distance. The weather wasn't great but it didn't dampen our stay. All ages loved it and we will definitely go again.

    Thank you

Really glad you enjoyed your stay. The night time thunder storm was very dramatic but all the tents stood up to it fine and it makes great family holiday memories. Glad you had good wether for your BBQ. Hope to see you again soon, maybe in a gold bell tent next time for a little more luxury. Thanks again for the feedback, it is very useful xxd

We stayed in one of the safari tents and it was heaven. As someone who usually endures camping because the kids love it, it really was glamping with style and comfort. Would definately recommend for those who have never tried it. What made it extra special for us, is the fact that the whole place is autism friendly. Dannie and Andy have done a wonderful job making the place not only safe, but really welcoming for families whose kids are autistic. Those of us who know what it's like to be stared at or tutted at when your child has a melt down, or wonders off talking to himself, can relax, as they get it. They really do embace the difference! You feel your among friends. Would definatley recommend for any family who have kids with special needs.

We stayed in one of the safari lodges. The layout was very practical with some great features for everyone. The children loved the little playroom and the adults loved the wonderful views from the spacious balcony which caught the evening sun. Having the bolted gate on the balcony kept it safe for the children whilst we enjoyed our relaxation. The site was small and friendly and it was reassuring to have a locked gate on the entrance (for which we had a key to come and go) to prevent children from going out on the country lane. There were two playrooms in the stable block and a handy little shop.
The owners were very friendly, catering to our every need. Thanks. We enjoyed the experience and the luxury of the lodge.
