  • Quiet, secluded pleasure fishery with five well-stocked lakes
  • Set in 28 acres of woodland
  • Twenty minutes' drive from Dartmoor

Angling for some angling? A full five lakes teeming with fishy specimens await at Legge Farm Fishery near Dartmoor, where fisherfolk can land common, mirror, ghost, grass and crucian carp along with roach, rudd, bream, tench and perch. Prefer to sit dreamily beside water? A sixth lake is dedicated to attracting and cultivating the local wildlife: you might even see a kingfisher.

The small campsite at Legge Farm takes tents on non-electric grass pitches and tourers/motorhomes on hardstanding with electric hook-up, water supply and waste water drainage. Site facilities include showers and a loo, a washing machine and tumble dryer, waste disposal and a washing-up area.

After fishing, Legge Farm is well set for touring Devon as it's 20 minutes' drive from Dartmoor, 15 from the beach and near National Trust properties and family days out at the likes of The Big Sheep in and the Milky Way Adventure Park.

Or you could just stick around on site: the farm's peaceful rural setting covers 28 acres of secluded countryside, with woodland walks, more wildlife and rather spectacular scenery and views.
