Westland Farm is a small working farm in north Devon. We are on the edge of Exmoor National Park, half a mile from Blackmoor Gate and ideally sited for visiting the seaside towns of Woolacombe, Ilfracombe and Combe Martin.

The Station Inn at Blackmoor Gate is just up the road where food is served all day.

We have a lovely Mongolian yurt to let and a beautiful shepherd's hut.

Our lovely yurt is set in its own, completely private three-acre field close to a babbling stream. It is furnished with a double bed, single bed and futon (all bedding upto four people is supplied). Next to the yurt is a kitchen shed with all you need to cook and eat your meals. All you need to bring is your food, towels and wash bag (wellies and a torch are also a good idea).

The shepherd's hut is also set in a quiet corner at the top of the farm, closer to the toilets and showers. It is beautifully fitted out with a 5ft double bed and small child bed, an airbed can be supplied as a small extra cost to accommodate a family of four, or camping is available next to the shepherd hut for older children or extra adults. The shepherd's hut contains a small kitchen with sink with running water and single burner hob. There is also a woodburner to keep you cosy.

Come and stay in the shepherd hut or yurt during the lambing season (April and May) you may even be lucky enough to see a lamb being born!
